RUN MEDFORD
On September 27th and 28th we’re coming together to celebrate running. Medford is where it all started for Dave McGillivray, and after more than 40 years of running adventures, he wants to show his appreciation the best way he knows how: by organizing a road race with the explicit purpose of raising funds that would directly benefit his hometown.
This year, the 5K race is being named after Jerry Panarese, who was a member of the New England 65+ Runners Club. Jerry was the director of the Run of All Ages which was held in Wakefield, MA for 25 years. The race was going to end, so we decided to include it in our Run Medford event to keep Jerry's spirit alive and going.
